This one day seminar focuses on presenting business possibilities for small and middle sized companies working in the creative field. The presenters at the seminar are representatives from key institutions and success stories across the creative branch.

Noted speakers are Simon Staffans presenting views on developing new TV formats, Mats Långbacka from Långfilm productions giving insights into the audiovisual market in the Nordic countries and Johanna Skantze from the Swedish Creative Industries / Nätverket för upplevelseindustrin.

Ass. Prof. Bente Meyer from School of   Education, Aarhus University, Denmark is visiting Åbo Akademi University in Vasa on May 19^th 2009.  Dr. Meyer will give an open lecture on Edutainment and a half day workshop to discuss research issues on Edutainment. Her research is targeting edutainment and language learning in particular, but her interests also include ICT and learning, serious games, and computer assisted language learning. The Lecture and workshop will be in English.

MindClub is an opportunity for companies and entreprenuers to meet other local Ostrobotnian companies and make new contacts while listening to a speaker on an current issue. The topics have over the years included the gaming industry, digital marketing, social media, business development and the youth media market. On top of this we also invite local companies to speak about their strategies and thoughts on development.
