Our foremost objective is to build a strong community within the field of User Experience. The conference Eyes on UX 2009 is one of our attempts of doing so.

Pre-Conference Networking
We maintain a social community (http://eyesonux.ning.com) for networking and discussing valuable topics related to UX work and research. You can choose to blog, discuss, chat, and read about other participants - their background and ideas. You may also upload files that you have prepared beforehand in order to present your work/research. This is your chance to market yourself and your work. This option is available for academic paper presentations, or industry cases/projects.

The social community is also your chance to learn about speakers' topics and pose questions to them prior to listening to them live.
 
Post-Conference Networking
We will continue the networking also after the conference. Our website will provide a frame for maintaining contact and keep on networking after the conference in Vasa has come to an end. Examples of post-conference content that will be provided are:

• Results from the UX studies conducted during the conference
